This stand is light weight and can be made with straps for back-packing, the stand is 21" wide X 40" long and it's only 24 Lbs. It will fit a 20" tree. The seat can be pushed forward to sit with your back to the tree when you get to the top, or may be placed under your legs to face the tree when you get to the top. This is a stand-up and sit-down type climber. It is built in two sections. I built my climber and only spent $30.00 on all the materials (it took me 30 minutes to cut all the pieces out). I have went up telephone poles with this climber with no problems.
