This is a buck that I saw 11-5-2001.  He stepped out while I was sitting in the penthouse stand that we had just put up 3 days before.  He came out 20 yards from the stand and looked right at me sitting in the stand.  I had saw him coming so I did not move at all.  But he didn't give me enough time to draw my rifle that I put in the corner.  Not only that it was misty that morning and so when he turned his head and start walking off I couldn't find him in the scope because of the misty that was there.  So I just had to watch him walk away.  I hunt the whole week of thanksgiving in the morning and did not see him again so I that well hunt some where else in the morning .  As you can see the morning I didn't hunt there him came out at 8:01 AM.  I started sitting late and found that I have seen more deer that move around until 10:00 AM.  This deer that I saw was a out side 8 point.  the first time I saw him it was 7:20 AM. I bought my spy camera at Wal-mart for 130.00 bucks.  This photo is 30 yards to the right from the Penthouse-1 stand.  There has been 3 deer taken form that stand as of 11-15-2001. 

 Well this last week of the season turn out to be slow.  The deer are not walking because of the shortage of rain in the area.  I did happen to get a nice buck out of the far side of the property.  If it would have been 10 minutes later I would have been gone.  This picture was taken on 12-30-01 the next morning. Well this is the biggest buck this year taken off the farm.  But I have seen 3 others that are bigger than this one.
